Ikebana Workshop

Discover the timeless art of Ikebana, traditional Japanese flower arranging, in this hands-on workshop led by a Certified Master of the Ohara School of Ikebana, Nakaba Emtesali. Participants will learn the fundamental techniques and principles of this elegant art form while creating their own arrangement.

Ikebana emphasizes balance, simplicity, harmony, and mindfulness, transforming flowers and natural materials into artistic expressions of beauty. Whether you are new to floral design or an experienced flower enthusiast, this workshop offers a unique opportunity to develop a new skill and gain a deeper appreciation for Japanese culture and aesthetics.

The workshop will last approximately 1.5 hours. Participants must arrive on time, as instruction begins promptly and builds throughout the session.

Please bring your own pair of scissors or garden clippers. All other materials will be provided.

At the conclusion of the workshop, participants will take home their completed Ikebana arrangement.
