The Club has graciously hosted some of the most important civic events of the community and overflow public meetings of the Association.

The Philanthropy Program of the Club donates to horticultural, educational and community service agencies. It provides support to those organizations whose purpose is to preserve, display and conduct research into various aspects of horticulture. The Program also provides scholarships to students who are pursuing courses of study in Botany, Horticulture, or Environmental Protection.

The Club hosts musical concerts and performances throughout the year via the "Community Concerts of Rancho Santa Fe" program. Recent performers have included Orange Kellin's New Orleans Blues Serenaders; the Vega String Quartet; Sherry Overholt, Soprano and Lee Velta, Baritone; the Rancho Santa Fe Big Band; and Pianist Cecile Licad.

Throughout the year, the Club also sponsors educational programs such as the BeExtraordinary Lecture Series.
