Membership is open to those who wish to get engaged in life. Although we were named the Rancho Santa Fe Garden Club in 1926 and were formed to beautify the community we have evolved to be much more than our original purpose. We are located in the heart of historic Rancho Santa Fe and we are involved in all things Rancho. We're a friendly and dynamic group and we welcome those who would like to get involved in our club and community. Memberships are open, please click here for application and activity interest form.

Volunteers and interns greatly enhance and expand the efforts of the Board, and we realize that without the help of volunteers we could never accomplish all of our goals for the Club. We have a variety of interesting projects, and strive to match volunteers' interests and skills with work that is appealing and gratifying. So whether you have a couple hours a month or a lot of time to dedicate, we would love to talk with you about the volunteer opportunities we currently have available.

The following is a short list of committees that support the activities of the club. As an active member you are encouraged to serve on at least one committee. Participation is the club's activities will enhance you enjoyment of the club and your valuable time is not only appreciated but necessary for the continued success of the club.

Field Trips
Help plan and organize trips to interesting local places
Horticulture
Help to find speakers for quarterly meetings, plan programs. Help with holiday decorating, charity wreath making project etc.
Hospitality/Parties
Help plan and organize annual Christmas party and Harvest Dinner, New Member Reception
Work with caterers, floral designers, musicians.
Help set up and donate refreshments for quarterly meetings
Mailing
Help make copies of website fliers, letters and information to be distributed to the community at large and to be snail mailed to members who do not have internet access.
Membership
Help maintain our member data base.
Programs
Help create and plan new and interesting programs. Offer to have a coffee in your garden.
Publicity
Help write the weekly article for the Review. Help write press releases. Distribute fliers locally to advertize our events.
Design fliers for events.
Website
Master our website, help write articles. Take photos for publication.
Photography
Take photos at our events for our website.
Volunteer
Help organize volunteers, keep a record of interests and skills of members.
Upscale Resale Shoppe
Bring your retail experience. Help sort, display, cashier, etc

Help expand our philanthropy. Explore new areas to help our community.
Rambling Thru the Rancho Garden Tour
Procure gardens for tour, help with ticket sales, check-in, advertising etc
4th of July Parade
Decorate float and participate in our parade activities.
